Kinja'd!!!

My first overnight shift in years. Brought a little something to keep me on my foot.

I was the first to arrive... somehow I like being in empty offices.

You’ve lucked out (for once). Cheapest in Canada (even cheaper than Alberta). I think they may be trying to increase brand awareness. www.lcbo.com

I bought a bottle in December of 2017 from a private store for $172 and have absolutely no regrets. Think rich raisin and resin with that special subtle Campbeltown peat.

TIL BC doesn't add taxes to the prices. LCBO's pricing is actually all-inclusive.

Thoughts? I remember hearing good things about this. Was out of stock for the longest time.

I didn’t know this existed. Interesting timing though. Chances are a new triple wood may soon appear for you (also $100 and 59% too). Nov 2nd for us. I’d consider holding out for this one:

Last night I tried the Triple Wood in the link you sent me. Had it followed by an Ardbeg 10 to try and at least put it in some context.

It was very, very good. I added no wate r, didn’t need to . I could definitely get all the layers of wood but the whisky as a whole was subtle when compared to the Ardbeg. It also made the Ardbeg seem 7 years old.

Friend I was with said they really liked it despite not really being into smoky whisky. I’d say $ 100 would be well spent.
